Multiple outlets are reporting that Megyn Kelly is out at NBC and her show on Thursday was a pre recorded show for Friday.

What’s got Kelly packing is what some say was her defending the use of blackface as a Halloween costume on her show Tuesday morning.

“You truly do get in trouble if you are a white person who puts on blackface at Halloween or a black person who puts on whiteface for Halloween,” Kelly said on Tuesday but then opened her show on Wednesday with “I want to begin with two words: I’m sorry. You may have heard that yesterday we had a conversation about political correctness and Halloween costumes. … I defended the idea, saying that as long as it was respectful and part of a Halloween costume, that it seemed OK. Well, I was wrong, and I am sorry.”

The former Fox News reporter has also reportedly been dropped by her talent agency, Creative Artists Agency (CAA).

Kelly moved from Fox to NBC in 2017 and had a three year contract with NBC for $69 million.

NBC has not officially said that Kelly is out but some NBC insiders are saying that Kelly is discussing her separation from the network.

On Friday Kelly and her lawyer are expected to meet with NBC.
